The Internet Marketing business is booming. There are thousands of programs, e-books and systems that promise ways of getting rich. Some offer very high returns in a short timeframe such as investing in forex, some charge four figures to buy their information and others are available for no charge other than your name and email address (so they can legally add you to their list of subscribers and send you emails with more offers) Many programs are legit ways of making money but some are deliberate scams.
With all the hype out there, how do you separate the good from the bad? The old adage, “if it seems too good to be true, it probably is,” is a good gauge, but at the end of the day, you can’t beat good old fashioned research for sorting the good from the bad. Look for as much information as you can. Subscribe to everything that looks interesting but costs you nothing. There is heaps of free information out there and it is a great way to learn some of the basics. Subscribe to free e-courses on everything from building a list of subscribers to setting up a blog. You can always unsubscribe easily when a site stops giving you interesting stuff.
Join online forums and community sites and look for people who have had an experience with different programs. These are more likely to be honest that the “testimonials” you see on the programs themselves.
